Space for people to create their own new personal memories to understand the space they live in and the consequences that brought them there.
"House of Unmade Memories" explores and visualises the complex changes that occur when embarking on a new beginning. Inspired by the works of Gaudi and photo mosaic techniques, this project delves into the unseen consequences and strains on relationships that accompany you when trying to leave everything behind.
Having experienced firsthand the act of leaving behind people and places, allowing them to transform into mere memories as they evolve into something unrecognizable, I translated this emotional journey into a tangible form.
Furniture is covered with photo mosaic, adorned with memories and fragments that once contributed to the feeling of home.
"House of Unmade Memories" utilizes structures and simple objects reminiscent of each place once called home to visually portray the disconnect and strain on relationships.
The project offers a space for individuals to create their own environment, infusing it with personal memories and navigating this alternative reality through immersing themselves in this VR experience. Individuals can sit and explore their ever-evolving lives and relationships and reflect on these changes safely.
